Yes my poultry have not been attacked yet. too many lambs around .
My in-laws call the mud lark pee wees to do with the sound they makes I
think.

We call them mud larks too as they build a nest with mud. But they are
really called Magpie-larks.
Really glad to hear Maisie is on the mend. It is always heartbreaking
when predators attack your pets so here's hoping she recovers
completely. The milk will do the trick for the foster lambs too. Have
milked goats and cows but never tried milking a sheep. Their teats are
so tiny. LOL
Have your poultry been spared the fox attacks? I really liked the look
of the elecrified netting that Jill posted. Wonder if I could get my
husband to agree to a roll or two for near the house or maybe the
orchard - when I plant the trees :-)
