Dorkings and ducks

Well I ordered my birds and they arrived yesterday. I am now the proud owner of a trio of Silver Grey Dorkings and a trio of white Indian Runner Ducks.

They are still locked in their pens with food and water and I will let them out into the main yard midmorning so they will have all day to explore the very bare yard. Still no rain here which is making everyone gloomy. Seeding has stopped and the bottom of the dam is in sight so we are all praying for some rain. Still, I have new birds so I refuse to be glum and things could always be worse. :-)
