I'm butchering over two hundred broilers in this next week.

I tried hot water for defeathering, and it worked ok, but when I tried a
little dish soap in the boiling water, wow, how much easier it was. Thanks
for the tip.

Feathers are just stripping right off.

now back to work.. I just dropped in to say thank you.

For those who think soap (that rinses right off when you rinse the chicken)
is disgusting, then you should see the natural stuff the chickens are
wearing. Soap becomes the viable alternative. After all I use soap when i
bath, and hope you do too. (And realize soap is superficial)
