Damaged chicken Wings

I was butchering chickens this morning, when i selected this morning's
chickens to clean. I selected them by size, but three because they acted as
if they had hurt their wings.
Everyday I've been butchering a few, and while they are flapping, they
dislocated, or even tore through and broke their wings with the bone
actually sticking through the skin.
This morning, the three that i selected based on them holding their wings
funny, I noticed when i butchered them, there were no skin wounds, but all
three chickens had greensh yellow swollen wings. I'm not sure I want to eat
these. What would cause this?
They appeared to have been injuries that have been there for awhile.
Cornish X Rock seem to have unusually fragile wings.
