Feather colours are amazing aren't they?

I've collected feathers since I was a small child. They're all magnificent,
from the tiniest to the hugest.

the hen's feathers look 'laced' with black, I hope to get some good pics of
her but she won't keep still.

Recently a 10yo grand daughter asked for my pea*** feathers when I die.
Then she asked me to take some with us when we visited - so that she could
balance them on her hand. I didn't believe it but tried and it works.

Smart boys

I know, but they won't stand still for me to get the classic profile view!
