Bird Flu

The season of peak risk for Bird Flu is now upon us, so it is not good news
that OIE has just reported that a new variant of the H5N1 virus has become
dominant in areas of Asia. Defra opinion seems to be that it is just a
matter of time before it reaches Europe. Have you seen the extensive "Bird
Flu Risk factors for United Kingdom" report which Defra has just published?
Also,the book "Bird Flu - A Virus of Our Own Hatching" is now available free
online.

Air Sac Infection

While concerns about Bird Flu continue to fly around, air sac disease due to
Mycoplasma Gallisepticum infection is an everyday problem that continues to
