point i would retreat until they settle down again, then go back. it's
that i can't see any benefit to continuing if they've woken to the point
where they're flying around & have to actually be "caught" iyswim, because
that is very stressful for them. and also me.

Use a bright torch in their eyes. Catch 2 and then hightail it with those
two to the new pen, then back with the torch for 3 more etc. the torch
treatmetn works for about the time it takes to catch 2 in my experience (and
pick a dark night to do it in and get Himslef to be the torch holder)
