Central Texas. My coop is SO very snake-proof (thanks to Dear Sweet
Husband) that that is one of the only things I don't worry about!
Feed store owner said that it definitely sounded like the heat. We
are giving them electrolytes and setting up another fan. They seemed
to think that'd help a lot. I certainly hope so!

How does something as small as a snake hurt chickens? I have seen what my
chickens do to snakes and it's not pretty! (poor snakes)
Considering that snakes can kill people, dogs, and horses, I find this
question very odd...
