But I am not one of those who condemns battery out of hand as others do.
I know :-)
I want to remove cowboys in all fields but battery per se is not all
evil.
There is as much bad husbandry in backyards and big fields as there is
in battery units.
That doesn't mean that ALL free range is stressful.
My birds don't cower at shadows.
Nor do mine :-)
And they know the difference between a vulture and a hawk.
We don't have either in the city but on daughter's farm in Wales they don't
worry about kites, buzzards or other raptors even though they don't see them
at home.
