Thank You to both Kathleen and Nicholas, We have been firmer with the
Drake and he is getting much better, picking him up and holding him
seemed to work best.
We loving being Duck owners and can't wait for our lady Duck to start
laying eggs! Are we looking for trouble only having one female with
the male? Information read varies on this point, what has been
anyones experiences?

Hi, Terry!
The more females you give him, the less time and energy he will have
to bother YOU. That said, ducks are not monogamous. The problem with
one female is that he is going to drive her crazy when he reaches
maturity. Drakes can be very, very, very, very,
VERY ...uh...attentive. Young drakes have only one thing on their
minds. Even adding another pair will help, since the drakes will
spend a lot of time threatening each other.
The result of all this attention can also be serious damage to the duck,
including fatal injuries or drowning.
