...the continuing saga...

Hi, All!
The pen contained my geese for a week or so. Then I let them out for
a few days and they behaved, staying out of the road. But it didn't
last. They stopped a school bus one afternoon and I penned them
again.
I walked them from the barn to the pen next morning, not wanting to
worry about them when I was in town. They went in so nicely. I went
into the adjoining garden and had just bent to pull beets when I heard
them coming. The whoosh of wings and their battle cry...and over the
fence they flew. Well, at least Beau, Dixie, and Erica. The other
two are not as strong.
ARGH!!!!
It's becoming a personal thing with Beau. He strutts and flaps his
wings and shakes his tail, all the while giving me a sidewise glare.
Little does he know what a pair of scissors can do.

The aviation authorities will look into this geese claim and see why there were any geese in Manhattan in January. ...
