My 7 (6? the flock seems to be down to 6 but I
think I've seen 7 still the morning) has some
bloodied white leghorn roosters. They survive
snow and cold just fine but seem intent on killing
each other off.

(Flock dropped off at night a couple of months
ago, by somebody who didn't need more roosters, I
guess. They've been roosting in a Maple at night
and hanging around mostly my backyard.)

There's no hens to provoke this as far as I know.

The instinct to flock seems to be at odds with the
instinct to fight.

Why do you keep asking questions on here? It is clear that no matter what
feedback you get, you have no intention of taking any actions to better the
lot of these roosters. That being the case, please be humane to_us_ and
leave us out of the situation.
