Shh..don't speak the devil's name or it'll likely show it's farce..err ahh face...and yes, I tend to mind my manners more with my chicken friends..I have birds as well as the horse herd and ahem..a plague of barncats..The chicken flock is comprised of Denizli (turkish long crowers) and Phoenix and a couple of pet blue silkies. I also have a flock of crossbred geese (mixture of toulouse, chinese and embden. And peafowl: Males: Two dark pied, two blackshoulder one white. Females:two cameo silver pied, one purple and one cameo split to bronze. If you want to see pics of the various color phases go to www.peafowl.org and look at the photos. It's an addictive hobby.
