I ordered my chicks without a hen house and brooded them in the kitchen.
Odd how that lights a fire under one's husband to begin building more
appropriate housing.

Well, my henhouse is still a pile of plywood and 2x4's until hubby
gets out there to put it together. This spring is the spring I
finally get my girls. I follow this group and other chicken groups to
try to learn as much as I can, and I thank you all for your teaching!
