In southern Arizona where I am, foxes and coyotes are the main
predators I have had to deal with. i put up a 5-foot high fence, I do
lock most of the birds in either a kennel pen or in the barn at
night. We have about 30 geese as well as peaccoks and guineas, one of
them will usually sound an alarm when they se something.
One of the reasons to shut ALL birds into secure buildings at night is to
remove some of the reasons for predators visiting
If all the restaurants along the street took down any tempting images of
their food, or scrummy menu's, you would be less tempted to visit.
If, when the predators visit in their dusk, night, dawn visits, there are
still animals out and about then they are more likely to try harder to get
at them.
Its putting sushi on their menu !!!!
