Hi Group,Many male muscovies are too big and too lazy to fly !!!
My drake Francis certainly has a good go at trying to fly every
morning when I let him out of his hut. As he is as big as as a
goose on shorter legs he never makes it over the fence.

Yeah, yeah, I know! I wasn't expecting to get him. I saved him from a
small hutch where he was being fattened purely by chance and it was the
first name that popped into my head.
If he doesn't like his name, too bad, it would be "Roast Duck" by now and he
wouldn't be wandering around in my orchard with his own 4x4 hut for bedtime.
