Roosters, when not fighting

Pic from yesterday as I walked by
http://home.att.net/~rhhardinb/roosters062.jpg
Two of them fight, mostly one following the other
at a quick walk wherever he goes to get some
distance away, back and forth across the yard and
through the trees, for a half hour at a time, with
occasional feather scuffles.
The third seems not to be involved at all.
How the one tells which of the others to harass, I
can't say.
(These are feral roosters that have taken up
residence by the back fence, dropped off last
September. Three have died at the hands of the
neighbor's escaped dog, one has taken up residence
down the block somewhere, three remain out back.)
