Hi Peggy, Hope you had a good Easter. Glad to hear the hessian bags look like keeping the birds away. Just don't let the politz come calling LOL. The coffee smell should be on the surface - see how it goes with a wash. Weather has been wonderful, proper Autumn so I've been out gardening, digging up a pond in the garden and getting vegies ready for planting. The ducks have suffered a few losses with foxes during the day and two pairs of eagles are still hanging around the guinea fowl keets in their cage but so far haven't got any of them or the chooks. How are things down your way? Getting ready for seeding?

Hi Ginny,
Had a quiet easter .To much traffic. It has been cooling off at night and morning but still very hot mid morn till 6pm or so. It si to dry to even think about seeding or any thing else. I am glad we are on sceem water. We have salt surfaceing that we have not had before. I know it was not far from the surface but now the ground has a white crust to it.the police have been past a few times but not came in as yet. The chooks don't know what to do .some are moulting others are broody . Wish the weather would either Rain or some thing . Out of 45 chooks we are getting 12 to 16 eggs a day.

Any one know what to do with egg plant?
PS Heading off to Kal early a.m. for a quick break so will be away all weekend. Have a good one everyone.
