Either one moved out under pressure of fighting,
or a predator got one. I'm surprised hawks
haven't gotten them all, in fact. But hawks don't
seem very interested, focussing instead on
songbirds, even when a rooster is in plain view.
No blood on either of the two that came back for
the night, so it wasn't a fight, I don't think.
We're back up to three roosters last night. Apparently
there's one now that sometimes comes back to his home
tree and sometimes does not.
The other two don't fight, so maybe being the odd man out
loosens the ties to the group a little but not completely.
