Down to one rooster

The seven roosters anonymously set loose last
September in the neighborhood are down to the last
rooster today, as far as I can tell.

They survived pretty well; disasters tend to be
particular-dog-got-loose taking out several at a
time.

Anyway there have been three since last December,
and there is only one today.

Weather seems to have bothered them not at all.

Maybe the same egg farmer will drop off another
truck-load this September.
