The rooster will top the hens, but no eggs are fertile.
I know its the rooster as I have hatched eggs when I switched
the rooster to another one.
Thanks
John
What is he?
Age?
Feeding?
Season?
Has he been wormed?
Is it worth trying to make a rooster fertile? Woudln't it be easier to just get another rooster?
I have a problem with my turkeys... this is the second season without a single egg hatching, and the ones I had in the incubator did absolutely nothing either. I think that as they all came from the same supplier they have maybe been inbred too much.
It's a pity, as the male is now too tough to make a decent meal (and Christmas is over) and I have to search for another supplier.
