I hunt every day between Oct. 1 and the end of March. I carry nothing
but a sharp walking stick ( weapons are for wussies thats my motto)
and usually stay out for less than an hour per day. My only companion
is usually my Harris Hawk (Jack - weight 525 grams)though I often
think it would be easier without him ( I often beat him to the game).
I hunt the dry scrublands in and around Dallas, Texas and rarely
venture more than two miles from my suburban home. ( see hunting pics
at website)

If I used a gun, bow, or spear or hunted larger game, I could probably
do better but as it is I have trouble eating the 300 - 400 pounds of
rabbits, hares, doves, pigeons and ducks I get every year. I've
invited Lewis to go hunting with me but so far he's declined.
