Abstract:
The question of when the Americas were first colonized by humans has
been controversial for more than 20 years. Some archaeologists argue
that even if there is not convincing evidence of humans in the
archaeological record before the Last Glacial Maximum, they could still
have been present at low densities for many thousands of years. Adams
et al concentrate on whether this is plausible.
