I have read that since these fossils were found "wet" in a thick paste like
consistency, even cured they remained to fragile to ever have been
physically molded. That is why there were plans to use CT scans to create
digital images instead.
I am absolutely apalled that this old man and his selfish ego has
irreparably damaged this unique cultural treasure. Jacobs' should be ashamed
at the disgrace he has brought to himself, and his legacy should be one of
ignomy.
