This little post says almost everything you ever need to know about AAR:
1. Can't read
2. Low level of reading comp.
3. Leaping to conclusions
4. Poor judgment
And how can anyone pretend to know anything about anything without knowing
***something*** about Nancy Tanner?
Several have accused the AAR crowd of reading selectively - just what seems
to fit their scheme no matter how obliquely and here's Marco asking about
what Jim wrote on the *first* page of his site.
No wonder the AAR hasn't made any progress in decades. No wonder they keep
repeating the same trash over and over again.
McLark, giving these guys a "Yada, yada, yada" is giving them too much
credit. Blah, blah, blah is lofty praise of their abilities. Drool,
drool, drool, is more like their level but probably too high, again. Maybe
EJ's Bah? What sounds do worms make?

So, what's left to critique? How about the web site entitled
www.aquaticape.org but dedicated to it's dismisaal. Several posters
here suggested that it was an unassailable critique, almost a proof of
how poor the AAH was - a magnus opus even. Well I've destroyed that
myth too. Moore's web site is so bad, but it can'tr be ignored. Even
Leslie Aiello, my supervisor at UCL, referred me to it in 1999.

Imagine a web site so bad that his supervisor referred it to him!
