This bears repeating because it is important. What you are describing
is not drift. You do not seem to know what drift is, for what you are
describing is soemthing entirely different.

Oh the irony! Since you do not appear to know what drift is, it is not
possible for you to argue much intelligently about it. I strongly
suspect you will somehow resist this, claiming that you understand what
drift is or claiming I am attacking you. This is not so. This is not
an attack, but a statement of fact: what you are describing as drift is
not what drift as defined by any evolutionary biologist. You should
demand your money back for your tuition from UCL because you received a
degree in an evolutionary field without learning one of the most basic
concepts in evolutionary biology.
