But, Ross, I *didn't* attack her, never have, never will. I
complemented her. My 'attack', if it was an attack, was on Jim's
motives for writing his web site, which included, remember, a very
clear reference to the fact that Nancy Tanner was his wife in the first
place.

Look I humbly apologise for any offence caused by stating my opinion on
Jim's motives. I honestly thought I was actually helping him. In my
view it lets him off the hook for what is, in my view, a rather bitter
attempt at a character assasination of Elaine Morgan. I thought *that*
was disgraceful.

But for my part I will be very careful not to 'go there' again. I can
see that my comments were insensitive, at best, and I regret making
them.
