We all have the lines which we do and do not cross. Algis very rarely
cross it to the point that I think he needs abuse heaped on unprovoked.
I think he tries to remain civil, hypocritical as he is and (probably
not intentionally) liberal with truth and honesty as he is. I *try* to
avoid making it personal with him and draw my line at extending it to
any character attack beyond his person. Though what anyone considers
provoked is again subjective.
Marc on the other hand invites abuse with every post where he shows
he's unable to refrain from insulting not just a single poster, but
essentially any and all who don't agree with him. I think Algis and
Pauline (and maybe even Mario) are aware of this. What's peculiar is
that beyond that they don't seem to notice that he's also insane, that
he doesn't make any scientific sense at all. He's simply delusional
that there haven't been arguments obliterating his "scenario." He's on
some other planet where apparently fossil evidence isn't valid, where
archaeological evidence is meaningless and the comparative method is
reduced to some peculiar bastardized version where the abilities of
ostriches somehow place limits on the environments in which humans can
live (despite abundant evidence that no such limit exists).

For whatever reason, my newsreader knowledge just isn't up to snuff to
get xnews or any other non-google engine going. The temptations of the
flesh are weak and I just don't seem to be able to draw strength enough
to let Verhaegen post to himself.
