No, Algis is dead wrong in just about everything because he's about the
most incompetent student of evolutionary biology I've ever seen, unable
to discern that what he believes about vestigial characteristics isn't
based on any understanding of evolutionary biology, but merely his own
pronouncements. Since he's an incompetent student who managed to get a
master's degree (UCL really ought to be embarassed but I'll not rule
out that it was deemed the easiest way to get rid of him) without
knowing what genetic drift was, now without seeming to understand that
humans retain a brachiator's shoulder though we are not presently
brachiators. His knowledge of a field he claims to be studying is on
par with a B or C undergrad student, yet he speaks with the certainty
of his convictions that can only come from religious conviction. I
suspect that deep down, part of the problem is that he's just not very
smart.
