I am reading for some time, now, how scientiests are surprised when
they notice that animals are more intelligent than they thought. More
intelligent than they thought. Previously they assumed that they are less
intelligent. Their previous assumption was based on Byble. Byble was a
comfirmation that previous assumption was correct. The Byble is wrong. They
are surprised to learn this.
I am living in a communist country. Do you know how they wash brains
of people? For example, you have a beautiful table somewhere. They say to
people "That table is beautiful.". But they say it with the face expression
which tells that this table makes them vomit. So, to anybody who didn't see
the way they presented this table, they say, "Hey, this table is beautiful,
and we told our people that this table is beautiful. We told our people
truth.". But to the surprise of everybody, their people think that this
beautiful table makes you vomit. So, their people doesn't know the truth
that this table is beautiful, but just the opposite. This table makes them
vomit.
And this is what you are trying to tell me. You are saying that
nobody EVER thought that apes are stupid, and the least the ones who are
now surprised when they learn how intelligent apes are. -- Mario
