Assignment for Mikey

Mikey,
This is your assignment. Read the following piece of thread from a
conversation between myself and Jason and see if you agree with me that
he is being evasive:

Notice the pattern in this passage. He makes big claims. I ask for
specific to support his claim. He not only fails to provide any
support for his big claims but pretends it's my fault because I didn't
read some book. It would seem to me that his evasiveness is so obvious
that not even somebody as prejudiced as yourself could deny it.
Or possibly, Mikey, you'd like to help Jason out with this question.
