Typical Strawman Tactics

Jason, keep in mind that my hypothesis takes place starting 8 mya. You are,
it seems, trying to suggest that evidence of recent domestication of farm
animals disputes my scenario. I don't see how it does since there is such a
huge amount of time between these two time periods and there are
complicating factors, like the Mt Toba volcanoe at about 70 kya which is
believed to have caused extinction of many hominid groups. So if you want
to make the case that the evidence of recent domestication in particular
and/or the other evidence surrounding what has been labelled, "The
Agricultural Revolution," in general amounts to a dispute of my model that
takes place millions of years beforehand (and which makes no claims
regarding domestication) then you will have to step us through the argument
as to how and why.

All in all Jason it seems you are employing strawman tactics here. You're
trying to pretend that I said something that I didn't say so that you can
pretend to have disputed it. I have suggested that the communal
territorialism of my model has some parallels to the communal territorialism
associated with extent and historical agriculturalists, going back 8 kya.
For you to dispute my model based on vague assertions about the evidence of
recent domestication of animals is a strawman tactic in that I have made no
assertions that hominids domesticated animals at 8mya. Like Verhaegen, the
fact that you refuse to make your assertion specfic and prefer, instead, to
keep it vague and generalistic indicates to me that you are well aware of
the fact that there are millions of years between the periods under
discussion and that there are considerable differences in the specifics of
the behavior associated with my Ecological Gatekeeper Hypothesis of 8 mya
and the specifics of the behaviors associated with the so called
agricultural revolution of, about, 8kya.
