When people started to go to colder regions, their brain started to
grow. And this went to whole population. Because there was a pressure for
bigger brains, but there wasn't for smaller.
But, it could be that some small-headed people NEVER came in contact
with the big-headed people. Maybe not never, but their contact wasn't often
enough, or was interupted for longer period, during which period those two
groups became so different, that they didn't want to interbreed. Possibly
on some remote island, like the island of Flores. : ) -- Mario
