Ah, if it was just a couple of days ago, I should be able to find
the message. I was hunting way back with search.
Yes one would expect the planks were used with boats, since it is
near the Sea of Galilee ot, as you say, as surfboards.
Seem to remember the fishermen off Peru (or somewhere) use boats which
they simply straddle with their feet in the water.
