Rosas paper on El Sidron

The paper deals with Neandertal bones from Spain. It remarks
that one canine tooth showed an elongated wear on the mesial side,
which was not due to mastication. This is the side toward the center,
BTW, to save others from looking it up. Anyone care to try to guess
what might have caused this. Maybe pulling sinews through the teeth
to soften them up to use as thread? Rather far fetched, but I
couldn't think of anything else.
