First of all you dumb ***, hand axes weren't produced by grinding.
I agree. Somehow at that point I was
thinking of the finely polished ones --
probably all late, and probably used
for ceremonial purposes.
Secondly you dumb ***, if rock turned to dust on a beach in months
there wouldn't be any pepple beaches, they would all be dust
beaches.
You have no idea of what happens on
this planet, do you? There ARE 'dust
beaches' -- made up of sand and mud --
and there are HUGE areas. The mud
and sand often get washed out to sea
forming sand banks and cover massive
areas of ocean floor and continental
shelf.
BUT large portions of cliff are washed
away each year, turning into more mud
and sand -- and also rocks. The rocks
from these cliffs make up the pebble
beaches until those pebbles get
ground up.
Huge quantities of mud. sand and
pebbles are moved along coasts all the
time. Pebble beaches represent no more
than a natural sorting or sampling from
that enormous mass -- and for each
pebble a very transitory state.
But you said handaxes on "pebble beach", don't try to lie your way out
of what you said. The pebbles, since they are made of the same
material (or softer) as the axes, would have been ground to dust at
the same time (few years or even months"). Are you really that stupid
or are you just trolling?
