Why do you always think humans are exceptions??

Only one exception that can make a core tool, Homo. No sea otters, no
whales, no chimps.

Running mammals run on their hooves or toes, not on their soles.

I know, that's why Mr. Karoha can catch a kudu.

Can Mr. Karoha outrun a lion?

Mr Karoha, in concert with others, can mount a
collective defense against lions and other predators.

This strategy/approach is useless against social predators like lion and
hyena.

Baboons and chimps do much the same.

Against lion and hyena? No chance. Show us the evidence. Go ahead. Show
us.

Simply
outrunning a predator is simply one of many anti-predator
strategies.

Without jeeps and guns it's the only strategy that has a chance agains lion
and hyena, and only if trees are in the vicinity.

In any event the fact that lion have many times
over the ages killed a lone hunter does not seem to have
discouraged the practise indicating that theselosses to
predators did not impact the survivability of the species

Dimwitted logic. The fact that lions kill an occasional hunter who chooses
to venture into their habitat is not evidence that early hominids resided in
predator filled treeless habitat any more than the fact that sharks kill the
occasional fisherman is evidence that hominids were aquatic.

The fact that modern humans, despite all the advantages our intellect
provides, are still, to this day, not able to persist in predator filled
treeless habitat is all the evidence we need to be highly skeptical of the
simpleminded notion that early hominids regularly hunted and gathered in
predator filled treeless habitat, like we presently find in east Africa.
Safaris are a recent phenomena, you numskull.
