The tallest people in the world, the Nuer and Dinka people of southern
Sudan, live in humid swampy conditions.
The San or Bushman people of the Kalahari desert are the second
shortest people in the world.
No Australian Aboriginal people, even desert nomads, are 'elongated'.
There are many people who have run marathons, but has anyone run a
marathon without drinking water during the race? No human can run far
without drinking lots of water, especially in hot dry conditions. Do
you suppose that when Homo erectus was chasing a gnu they had their
freinds lined up with water-filled ostrich eggs so they could have a
drink when they needed it? Or did they stop at convenient water holes?
