After that, it's all crapshoot down to
the current moment where we show up as speaking, obligate-bipedal
creatures over-populating the planet.  We eat & have sex with just
about everything.  gads.  make a theory from that eh?!?  <smile>

Allow me to make two observations: 1) you have no hypothesis of your
own, 2) you have no dispute with my hypothesis.

That is not quite true. I dispute that the dry season had an affect
on pregnant women. For this reason: A "season" implies the passage
of one year with it's various changes.... one trip for the earth
around the sun, and then a repeat of the previous season. I dispute
this point because pregnancy and lactation lasts for LONGER than one
year in humans, so the effect of seasonal anything must have been
minimal.

Perhaps one day I'll have a hypothesis. Right now, I don't feel that
I have all those answers, and I am quite busy just trying to figure
out how this one year old before me is moving through space and time
and learning language and culture. It remains a baffling mystery, and
is a delight to observe.

Since you have a mature hypothesis, you should publish and go on the
lecture circuit. You can charge some ten grand per lecture and make a
pretty good living. Or do like Jane Goodall, and devote her lecture
funds to some helpful project.

End of story.  You may not like the fact that this is the case, but
this is the case.  Pretending otherwise won't make any difference.
