Why does he need a full wet suit and googles? :-D

He doesn't. Would you backfloat naked in front of a video camera for
distribution on the internet? I wouldn't either.

This is weak, even for you.

I answered your weak question.

It was a devastating question.

Naked? They guy could just wear trunks.

So?

"So" - LOL. Another weak response.

again So? wet suit, trunks, goggles are modern accessories, not
needed for backfloating.

And your lame excuse doesn't explain the head piece OR the goggles.

excuse? The guy is skinny, wears thermoinsulation, because he's in the
middle of a diving session (most likely). There is a learning curve to
diving without goggles, but the Moken kids (and some European)
traditionally dove without them, when foraging for seafood, trained to
see tiny objects far below surface.

As Marc says, we are no longer aquatic to the same extent as our
ancestors were, largely due to technology and trade.

LOL - if we were MORE aquatic then how are we LESS aquatic now? Hmmm?

trade and technology allows foraging more efficiently en masse.

This gets funnier and funnier!
