How do you explain the fact that apes capable of carrying

Because apes would not carry a club up
into a tree (except on special occasions).
The first (proto-) bipeds had to be able
(a) to stop sleeping in trees; and
(b) be able to hold on to their clubs
at all times (including at night).

I can't believe you expect others to take this absurd
reasoning seriously.

Shame that you can never find anything in it
to criticise.

The fossil record seems to suggest hominids appearing suddenly
on the scene in East, and/or North Africa at about 7.25 mya,

There is no fossil record that indicates a
date so early.

at the beginning of the messinian (the last age of the miocene
epoch).

As you ought to know, these terms are close to
meaningless. Look up 'Miocene' in Wikipedia.

(Climatically, the Asian Monsoon came into existence
at this point in time 7 and 1/4 million years ago.)

You have to about be retarded to not--in the least--suspect
that the close coorelation (both geographically and
temporally) of the emergence of monsoon habitat and hominid
evolution is causally related.

You have to be ignorant of all evolution to
think that there is a causal relationship.
Climate changes ALL THE TIME. Where
are the new species that result?

But, Paul, you've displayed such blatant ignorance of the
interrelationship of climate/environment to the shifts in
biota, as plainly revealed in the fossil record, that it is
hardly surprising you have this absurd opinion.

The fossil record is not something you should
pretend to dream up.
