- Our SC fat has nothing to do with brain fats.

Wonderful.

Well, somewhere or another, someone needs to come up with a consistent
scenario that covers some of these issues.  ...bipedal first, big
brain later...

Well, if that hobbit turns out to be the real deal, then big brains
may be out the
window. It is conceivable that something with a chimp-sized brain was
a lot smarter
than the average chimp and for a very long time.

and fat babies by at least H.erectus, if not earlier.
(Cf. the Gona pelvis)
so brain and SC fat are not related.

Pigs are smart/carnivorous and have SC fat, maybe there is a
connection
there?

Maybe that can be an "agreed"
fact in sap?  :)
I accept that our relative hairlessness may be an "accident" or maybe
just sexual selection.  I am not so accepting of that concept with
most of the other unique human traits.  Evolutionary theory requires
an explanation.  Evidence is nice too.

maybe i'll post the Gona pelvis article.... don't see it in sap
archives for some reason...

<snip nonsense>

but whatever
the possible functions of SC fat, the facts alone that humans are 10 x
fatter than chimps

Liar.

& that (semi)aq.mammals are much fatter than
terrestrials, are relative pro-AAT arguments.

More wetloon talk.

Homo is different than chimps (it is not about semi-aquatic sea
mammals)
because we evolved on the C4 savanna with extended tool use =
reduction in teeth.

Homo ate more animal products proven by the C3 fruit/salad diet of
chimps.
Ever hear of a naked chimp? No?
