Perhaps you should present your findings to a more receptive audience.
 Academians are leery of laymen presenting new discoveries. Threatens
the sacred cow theories upon which their tenure was awarded.

When I first self-published my book "NeanderThin" in 1995,I took out
an small ad in Radio Television Interview Report ( www.RTIR.com) a
publication that is sent to over 4,000 radio and TV talk show hosts.
This resulted in over 100 radio interviews, numerous Newspaper and
magazine interviews, and eventually appearances on Oprah, a feature
story on CBS New's 48 Hours Program and a guest appearance on a game
show ( To Tell the Truth - I won $660 :) ). This publicity also
netted me new collaborators for subsequent editions ( I more than
doubled the size of my book through their efforts) including noted
paleopathologist Professor Loren Cordain of Colorado State University
( who sent me reams of research papers an had entire hard-to-find rare
books xeroxed for my use) and noted nutritionist Dr. Michael Eades (
"Protein Power") who wrote the foreword for the current edition ( see
listing at Amazon.com).After I had sold almost 10,000 copies out of my
spare bedroom to people from all over the world, I also got a very
large advance ( far larger than for most first book authors)from a
major NY publishing house ( St. Martin's Press).

I once saw a man on the NBC's Tonight Show with Johnny Carson that had
a collection of potato chips that looked like celebrities. If I had a
piece of coal shaped like yours, I'd be giving the booking agent from
that show a call and present my findings to millions of Americans.

If an old computer salesman can do this why can't a coal miner like
you do likewise.
