My position toward God® is exactly my position toward the Loch Ness
monster. Some people seem to think that its existence is extremely
important, albeit the promotion of that belief appears to be based
primarily upon reaping financial benefits from those they can convince
of its reality.
Now, if someone can ever find evidence that a monster in the lake or a
god in the physical universe exists, I'll evaluate the evidence and
rethink my position based upon that revaluation. In the meantime,
neither the monster or God® matters to me in the least, that is unless
and until the promoters try to make laws that require that I act like
I believe in the monster, that I obey its Holy Rules®, and that my
government spend public tax monies to endorse worship of the monster.

Religion may in most of its forms be defined as the
belief that the gods are on the side of the government.
