Look, Jois, if you want to support the savanna theory, for heavens
sake do what you keep sniping at Algis for not doing and (a) provide
some evidence and (b) answer the scientific objections.

The theory that we are naked for that reason is scientific hokum.

It flies in the face of basic physics. Do I really need to explain
that to you all over again? Do you even KNOW the physics involved?

It also fails with the common sense observation that it would ALSO
benefit such animals as hunting dogs, tropical wolves and hyaenas
if it were true. Given that relative baldness is a very simple
mutation, and also protects against fleas and lice, elementary
Darwinism implies that it would be widespread.

The most likely explanations all give it a late date - probably
post-clothing - and say that it has NOTHING to do with our early
evolution. And, yes, this is as anti-AAT as it is anti-savanna.

Nick Maclaren.
