Don't know. My Netscape reader won't delete them either even though I
flag them to be removed. I generally have to set the expiration date
and then manually clear all expired messages at once when I start
getting errors like:
"Error!
newsgroup server responded:No Such Article In Group
Perhaps the article has expired
<cvhvf401qrr@enews4.newsguy.com> (234249)
Click here to remove all expired articles"
Of course, the error is misleading since they are not expired on the
server, as I can still see them in Google Groups.
