Greetings,
Recently I have come across the following new provocative book:
FUTURE HUMAN EVOLUTION: Eugenics in the Twenty-First Century
John Glad, Hermitage Publishers, 2006, ISBN 1-55779-154-6
(136 pages, bibliography, index) With Preface by Seymor Itzkoff.
http://www.hermitagepublishers.com/
My first reading of this book is that it raises alarm over future
possible genetic degradation of human species, and it suggests to
revive eugenics as way of mankind salvation.
Thus, perhaps it may be interesting to discuss this book here, because
the future of mankind and human evolution seems to be an important
issue :)
Thanks for the link, I downloaded it. I think what China is doing with
positive and negative eugenics is a good idea. I doubt you'll get a
civilized conversation about that subject on here. It's not PC to talk
about it.
Fortunately the book has become publicly available for free at:
http://www.whatwemaybe.org/
and
http://www.whatwemaybe.org/txt/glad.john.2006.future_human_evolution.web.003e.en.pdf
So, perhaps we could try to start here a civilized conversation on this
controversial topic of our potentially endangered future...
Comments and suggestions are welcome!
Kind regards,
