Hi,
I've never posted on this group before, so please excuse my ignorance...
CNN has a story about Louisiana's new governor, and among other things
they mention that his parents were immigrants from India, and he was
therefore 'nonwhite.'
I've spent some time in India and have always regarded them as caucasian
in spite of their generally dark skin. Aren't there just three major
races- mongoloid, negroid and caucasian? Aren't Mexicans, latinos and
sub-continent Indians therefore caucasians, or 'white' for lack of a
better term?
THanks for any clarification.
isn't there a number you can call....
