what about more norse influence in pre-columbian america is anyone
supposed to be uncomfortable about?
Certainly no one disagrees that the norse did infact make their way
into vinland?

I think that the problem anyone here has with most of what inger says
is that she doesn't provide much in the way of references.
Undoubtedly there can be misunderstandings in these sorts of issues,
but the 'oed' fiasco (where the entire multivolume gi-normous OED was
obvuiously confused for some single volume compilation and yet she
refused to give any sort of verifiable information) should lead anyone
to be wary when inger talks about sources.I myself have been -offered-
a number of sources from inger, but i haven't (and i am -not- saying
its been enough time for me to justifiably say that that won't) shown
up yet. And often when inger does present sources they are in some
language that most people in this english language group don't speak.
So forget about 'standard' references. Inger simply doesn't provide
references. Think about it, has anyone here been presented with good
references and sensible evidence and -still- insisted than inger was
beign unreasonable?
