Inger,
I don't know the extent of Dee's expertise wrt maps of
antiquity. However, I think it is worth while to listen to what
she has to say, and consider it on its merits, as she seems to
have studied Alaska maps more than anyone here. I suspect her
expertise stretches to the kind of conic projection in the map
you wish to say includes Alaska. What say we find out?
